Where can I find SG Bike bicycles and parking areas?

What are the different types of SG Bike bicycles?

There are 2 different types of bicycles:
 
Standard series bicycles: Daily commuter bicycles which you can find anywhere in Singapore!  
Premium series bicycles: Bicycles with Child Seat, Mountain Bike, and Children Bike which are only available at East Coast Park, West Coast Park and Marina Bay.* 
*Different rates apply to standard and premium series bikes. Kindly refer to the pricing page for more information. 
 
*The areas are marked as Green Zone in SG Bike term. More information about the Green Zone will be shown to you before unlocking a premium series bike. Fees apply when users park outside the Green Zone.

How to unlock an SG Bike bicycle?

There are 2 ways that you can unlock our bicycles: 
Method 1: Scan the QR code that is located on the lock  
Method 2: Key in the bicycle ID that can be found on the QR code 
 
*Kindly make sure that the ID is correct before unlocking the bike. Bluetooth, Location service, Data service must be turned on for smooth unlocking experience.

What are the modes of payments?

Users must link card details to unlock a bike successfully.  
Users may choose to use the service with Ride Pass or Pay Per Use

What is the SG Bike Ride Pass?

Accepted Answer

The SG Bike Ride Pass is a subscription that allows you to enjoy free trips of up to 30 minutes, with a charge of $0.03 per subsequent minute.

*Only applicable for standard series bicycles. Ride pass is a recurring subscription in which users may disable if they do not wish to continue.

How to subscribe to a Ride Pass?

You may purchase the SG Bike Ride Pass via “My Wallet” > “SG Bike Pass” or by redeeming a coupon in “My Wallet” > “Coupons”. 
As the SG Bike Ride Pass is not considered a balance, it will not be reflected under “Balance”. The expiry date can be found under “SG Bike Pass” in the menu. 
 
Alternatively, you may look out for latest promotions from us for free* ride pass trial! 
*Auto-renewal of the SG Bike Ride Pass is enabled upon purchase or redemption of ride pass. User may disable subscription at the “SG Bike Pass-> Auto- Renew” if they do not wish to continue.

How much does SG Bike charge?

Standard series (Mobike / Standard SG Bike): $1 for the first 30 minutes, $0.03 per subsequent minute.*
Premium series (Bicycles with child seat / Children Bike / Mountain bike): $4 for the first 30 minutes, $0.06 per subsequent minute (wef 05/08/21).
*Ride Pass usage (unlimited free first 30 minutes) is only available for Standard series SG Bikes. Click here for more information.

Where to park the bikes?

Standard series (Mobike / Standard SG Bike): 
Users must ensure that the bike is parked at the designated parking area with the allocated QR Code. Before ending the trip, the user may locate the designated parking location in the app.
Premium series (i.e. Bicycles with child seat / Children Bike / Mountain bike) 
Users must ensure that the bike is parked at the designated parking area with the allocated QR Code AND within the Green Zone to avoid additional admin and retrieval fees. Click here for more information. 
Before ending the trip, the user may locate the designed parking location in the app.
In case of any error, the user may submit an appeal through ‘Parking appeal’ on the SG Bike app menu bar with the relevant details and photo.

How to lock an SG Bike bicycle?

Users can manually lock the bike by pushing the lever on the bicycle lock and wait for 5x “click” sound before scanning the parking QR Code to complete the trip.

What do I do if my SG Bike bike gets stolen during the trip?

SG Bike takes all theft cases seriously. Please contact the police department to start a case before emailing us at support@sgbike.com.sg. SG Bike reserves the right to demand compensation for cases of theft or damages caused by user negligence.
 
Do include your name, contact number, residential address, location of theft, and a screenshot of the trip details in the email.
 
SG Bike takes all theft and abuse case seriously and will not hestiate to report these actions to the police.

What do I do if I spotted someone abusing the bicycles?

If you are able to, please kindly note the details of the incident (i.e. photos, date, time, location, description) and drop us an email at support@sgbike.com.sg with the details to allow the customer service team to assist you.
 
SG Bike takes such cases very seriously and will not hestiate to refer the culprit to the police for immediate followup actions.
